In this workshop, you will be introduced to the concepts of markup languages and the basics of creating web pages with HTML.

Topics include: HTML guidelines and tags, formatting text, linking pages, inserting images and creating page structure using tables.

In this workshop, you will learn to write simple mathematical equations to manage numerical data. In addition, you will become acquainted with the powerful built-in formulas in Excel.

Prerequisite: Excel Fundamentals/comparable knowledge

Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) allow web developers to separate structure and presentation and add functionality to pages. In this workshop, you will become acquainted with the techniques and code for using CSS.

Prerequisite: HTML Fundamentals/comparable knowledge

Topics include: styles, tracking changes and mail merge.

Instructor:

This workshop covers the basics of creating a website with Dreamweaver CS3. Topics covered include setting up a site in Dreamweaver, adding text and images and using FTP to upload your pages to your Simmons web space.

Instructor:

In this workshop, you will learn to create and modify images, using Photoshop. Topics include, exploring the Photoshop environment, working with tools and layers, enhancing images and saving images for digital use.
